I am fascinated by the small, almost-forgotten recognitions, drenched in the obvious, yet cooled in their commonness.
In the past, I have immersed myself in studying the range of products in night shops, analyzing Swedish riddles, enigmatic handwriting, empty notebooks…
I am drawn to the temporality of found materials, lost scraps of paper, abandoned writings, other people’s photographs. Discarded by their former owners, they are given a new life within my work.
