Mohammad Tamim Sahibzada (born March 13, 1974) is a visual artist, miniaturist, calligrapher, and art educator. He was born into a culturally and intellectually rich family in Afghanistan and is proudly rooted in the Timurid artistic heritage of Herat.

He studied Fine Arts at Kabul University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2002 and his Master’s degree in Fine Arts in 2015. His artistic practice focuses on classical and contemporary miniature painting, Islamic illumination (tazhib), calligraphy, and visual arts, with a strong emphasis on preserving and reinterpreting cultural heritage.

Tamim Sahibzada has extensive experience as both an artist and educator. He served as Head of the Miniature Department at the Feruz Koh Foundation (2006–2020) and has worked with cultural institutions related to archaeology, photography, and traditional arts. His work has been presented in exhibitions and workshops in Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, and Australia.

He currently lives in Antwerp, Belgium, and is the Deputy Director of the Hariwa Cultural and Artistic Foundation.
