Glasgow Studio Asbl is a workshop space self-managed by artists with multidisciplinary and multiple practices. It is not a collective but a shared space that is owned and maintained by the whole community. The dynamics can change depending on the artists and personalities working in the space. The diversity of practices brings a richness of dialogue and exchange. Each artist has his or her own activity and so benefits from a space for reflection as well as a space for production. Regularly, energies are pooled to give impetus to events.
Open studios, exhibitions and public discussions give us a shared energy, making human and artistic encounters possible and widening the circles of distribution.
