Stone headphones are part of “digital relics” series. The piece can be worn as necklace and as an ear-to-ear accessory. This piece is related to the addiction to introspective, isolated state that some aim to reach by putting on their headphones. They don’t hear others talking or the sound of the surrounding environment. They make a choice to be deaf towards someone’s cry for help or viceversa - sounds of upcoming danger. But what if they are not listening to music? What if they just keep headphones in their ears for the comfort of their own presence? I DO KNOT

The series of knots are made in order to capture time. When i was small, i remember my father building small models of ships from 15 - 17 centuries. I was always around helping him with the details. There my inspiration takes roots. I was always inspired by the marine knots. When i was small we used to make it with my father also. Sailors have long believed in the power of knots—not just to secure their ships, but to carry good fortune across the sea. In fact, during the Age of Sail in the 18th century, mariners often tied specific knots for protection, believing these would keep their vessels safe from storms and danger. I am not even talking of that part of the history of superstitions and beliefs where people still knot fabric on the tree branch making a wish etc. So many interesting facts, stories and traditions come out only with knots and co- exist. Inspired by these old superstitions, I create lucky knots that are bound to stay tied, holding your wishes and intentions close, just like they held the hopes of sailors who faced the unknown.
