The concept of my pieces are from the skeletons of my old works, the woven grids with the use of metal wires, conceived from the sensations I feel, my childhood memories, and my culture.

Metal wire, for me, is very malleable on its own, but if bound or woven together, it can give a solid structure – if you treat it like fabric, you can do almost anything with it.

My process is slow and repetitive that I use it as a meditation, a mantra. Curves have always been an element in my works. For me, curve shapes express fluid movement, and they could be dynamic. It depends on how much the curve is in the object; the less curve, the calmer.
