Ateliers Mommen
About the artist
The Mommen artists' community stands out for the richness and diversity of the artistic practices of its residents, who come from different nationalities, cultures and generations. This plurality feeds into a programme with no predefined aesthetic line, open to a multitude of contemporary artistic forms.
As key actors in Brussels' cultural life, the members of the non-profit organisation volunteer their time to develop the project: programming, coordinating and organising events, welcoming the public and guests. They also collaborate with external project leaders to co-produce exhibitions, installations, shows, concerts and performances.
