LawsonLawson Studio is the creative universe of my artistic journey—a world born from dreams and shaped through oil painting, poetry, and personal mythology. At the heart of my work are vibrant, surreal paintings that act as portals to alternative realms, where dreams—whether tender or nightmarish—are constant undercurrents.

I weave poetry and literature into my visual practice, expanding the painted world through zines and printed matter. These handmade publications are not just extensions of my canvases—they are tactile, narrative experiences, inviting viewers to step into a trance-like state and explore parallel emotional landscapes. Through the poetic interplay of image and word, I aim to build an immersive world that exists beyond logic, grounded in feeling and fantasy.

My practice also extends into fashion design, where I translate the color-rich language of my paintings into wearable expressions. Fabric experimentation and textile installations form another layer of storytelling, transforming art into daily ritual—art as a world-simulator, an emotional garment, a living memory.

Everything originates from “dreams”—the strange fragments of reality, whether light or shadow, that I gather from myself and others. These elements reassemble in my work as surreal characters, uncanny atmospheres, and kaleidoscopic visions. Influenced by both Western Surrealism and Japanese mythology, my work exists in a liminal space—personal yet universal, delicate yet confronting.

I believe artwork should not remain static or detached; it should live, move, and accompany us. Zines and fashion pieces are my way of making art tangible—playful, wearable, collectable. For this edition of the fair, I will present two new zines: one showcasing a full collection of my paintings paired with original poetry, and the other designed as an interactive card set. Alongside them, I will debut garments from my fashion line that further bring my painted world to life.

Through my work, I invite people to escape the rigidity of realism and step into their own inner realms—emotional, expressive, and unapologetically unique. To dream, and to wear that dream boldly.
