Besides my training ‘Graphical Design’ at the Academy of Fine Arts, I took a 4-year ‘Ceramics’ course and an additional 2-year specialisation ‘Ceramics’ in part-time Art Education.
From this background I search for a personal signature in my ceramics. The fine finish, colour and/or texture contrast help determine the overall image.

For the realisation of my ideas I work with cast clay (stoneware) and moulds.
I personally mix the colours by adding colour pigments and oxides to a base self mixed glaze.
I bake my creations 2 or 3 times, with one minimal pass at 1245°C.
